Here is a free (website) version of ..
MicroLog-By-WA0H.
MicroLog will run on Window 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP, and Vista
***** WARNING *************************************
*
*
If you have the CD version of MicroLog installed,
*
and then download the free website version in order to get
*
new program features, you will lose your built-in callbooks
*
unless you do the following:
*
*
.. Go to folder .. C:\Program Files\MicroLog-By-WA0H.
*
.. Copy the large (UcfCb) file to another folder.
*
.. UnInstall the CD version (logs will not be deleted).
*
.. Install the website version (using the steps below).
*
.. Restore the saved UcfCb file from step 2 above.
*
*
This will give you the latest version of the program,
*
but you will still have the old callbooks.
*
****************************************************
If you are replacing an older version of MicroLog
then un-install the old version.
Un-installing MicroLog will (not) delete your logs.
It is also a good idea to backup your logs. By default,
your logs (files that begins with Log-) are stored in
the same folder where the program was installed, probably,
C:\Program Files\MicroLog-By-WA0H.
In Vista, they might be in the sub-folder ..
Compatibility Files.
****************************************************
To install MicroLog .. do the following:
After you download MicroLog from my website, go to the
folder where it was downloaded and unzip (MicroLog.zip).
Then run the (setup.exe) program.
If you get a (version conflict) error box,
just do whatever Windows recommends
such as .. Keep you existing file by clicking (Yes).
If you get a (can't create icon) error box,
just click (ignore) and then use any standard
Window's method to create the icon.
If you get an error code 380 when you try to install or
run the program, check the following:
The regional date, time, and keyboard settings
need to be set to English USA.
The monitor resolution may be set too high.
****************************************************
In the folder where you download and unzip (MicroLog.zip)
there will be a file called (manual.txt).
It is an installation and user's guide.
You can also access the manual by running the program
and clicking the red (Help) button on the main screen.
The US and Canadian callbooks are (not) included as part of the
website version of the program. Also, the website version
will (not) access any of the commercial callsign databases
such as the Radio-Amateur-Callbook, BuckMaster-HamCall,
or QRZ.
I did build in 3 calls, WA0H, W1AW,
and VE3TDX so you
can see the type of information provided by the $10 CD version.
****************************************************
To purchase the CD version of MicroLog, which does have recent
callbooks built into the program, and will access commercial
callsign databases, just send $10.00 (plus $2 for shipping) to
WA0H at the address shown below.
To order MicroLog using PayPal .. go to the PayPal website
(PayPal.com) and make your $12 payment to my email address
