Here is a free (website) version of .. MicroLog-By-WA0H.

The CD version of MicroLog has a US/Canadian callbook database built into the program.   For information about hams in other parts of the world, the program can access the Radio Amateur Callbook CD or the Buckmaster HamCall CD.

The free website version does not have the features mentioned above.

MicroLog will run under .. Window-XP, Vista, and Windows-7 .. 32 or 64 bit.

=================================================

If you have no other versions of MicroLog installed on your computer then do the following:

Download MicroLog from my website.

Go to the folder where it was downloaded and unzip the file (MicroLog.zip).

Install the website version by running the (setup.exe) program.

If you get a series of (version conflict) error boxes, just do whatever Windows recommends, such as keep your existing file by clicking (Yes).

Run the program by clicking the (MicroLog-VbN) icon on the desktop. The US and Canadian callbooks are (not) included as part of the website version of the program,   but I did build in 3 calls,   WA0H,   W1AW,   and VE1RAC   so you can see the type of information provided by the $10 CD version.

You can access the built-in manual by clicking the (help) button on the main screen.

=================================================

If you already have a (new) CD version of MicroLog installed on your computer (versions dated January 2011 or later) then do the following:

Download MicroLog from my website.

Go to the folder where it was downloaded and unzip the file (MicroLog.zip).

UnInstall the existing CD version of MicroLog .. your logs will not be deleted.

Install the website version by running the (setup.exe) program.

If you get a series of (version conflict) error boxes, just do whatever Windows recommends, such as keep your existing file by clicking (Yes).

You will now have the latest version of the program and it will be able to access the callbook data that came with your CD.

Run the program by clicking the (MicroLog-VbN) icon on the desktop.

=================================================

If you have an (old) CD version of MicroLog installed on your computer (versions dated prior to January 2011) then do the following:

Download MicroLog from my website.

Go to the folder where it was downloaded and unzip the file (MicroLog.zip).

Install the website version by running the (setup.exe) program.

If you get a series of (version conflict) error boxes, just do whatever Windows recommends, such as keep your existing file by clicking (Yes).

You can now see what the latest version of the program looks like but it will not be able to access the callbooks that came with your old CD as the callbook databases are not compatible.

Run the program by clicking the (MicroLog-VbN) icon on the desktop. When you select the log to open, MicroLog will convert it to the new format.   The original log will still exist so you can access it using your old program.

I did build in 3 calls,   WA0H,   W1AW,   and VE1RAC   so you can see the type of information provided by the $10 CD version.

=================================================

To purchase the CD version of MicroLog,   which does have recent callbooks built into the program .. run the program and click the (other-stuff) button and then the (new program or data) button.
